This artwork is a contemporary board game, inspired by the ancient Mexica cosmology. Each corner of the board is associated with a mythological figure: the Women with the Red Horizon, the Owl, the Feathered Serpent, the Hummingbird. Each one represents some beautiful  virtues and some dark challenges. 

Following their instincts, the player is invited to choose and place their pawns on the board and predict or invoke their destiny. 

With this Artwork, SUMA once again creates an original piece that combines a multitude of meanings, histories and textures. While paying homage to Mexico´s atavic mythology, this playful sculpture is also an original invention and a poetic representation of the human quest  for meaning.
