SUMA

SUMA was founded in 2017 by Diego Escalona and Jalil Miguel, both graduates from the School of Architect of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Their approach to architecture is multidisciplinary and multifaceted, and their research often encompasses the fields of Geography, Anthropology, Archaeology, Art, scale, structure, materiality and the everyday object.

SUMA places curiosity at the core of their methodology and addresses the topic of sociopolitical and ethical responsibility through their practice.
