At a time when architecture is urged to rethink its ties to geography, material, and artisanal craft, BY Galería de Arquitectura presents a collaboration between Ranieri, an excellence in the transformation of volcanic rock, and architect Diego R Borrell, founder of TANAT Studio.

The project emerges from the intersection of Naples and Mexico City, two territories shaped by a shared mineral memory. Through sculptural and functional pieces, TANAT explores volcanic stone as geological and cultural archive - revealing architecture as trace, erosion, and permanence.

Curated by BY, Galería de Arquitectura, TANAT´s debut presentation in Italy launches a project with the far reaching objective of bridging knowledge and craft, fostering a transatlantic dialogue between materiality, design, and architecture. The collaboration stems from the architect's residency in Naples in July 2025 and evolves into a new body of work that will be presented at EDIT Cult (Napoles, October 2025) and in a solo show in Mexico City in 2026.
