Diego R Borrell
(Mexico City, 1987)
Diego R Borrell is the founder of TANAT, an architecture, art, and research practice based in Mexico City.
TANAT seeks, questions and explores architecture’s fundamentals and its reshaping through our present –and critical- times. Through a plurality of built and conceptual projects, as well as sculptural pieces, and diverse exhibitions, TANAT’s practice has enriched an experimental body of work that crosses between architecture and its complex -critical and symbolic- relations with the city, the landscape, and water.
Some of the most significant projects are “Cronoboros”, the pavilion at the Museo Experimental El Eco, the exhibitions “Escribir un Paisaje” commissioned by LIGA Espacio para Arquitectura, and “Pasajes” by Galería OMR. Most recently TANAT exhibited “El Retorno del Agua”, at Casa de México en España in Madrid.
