SUMA was founded in 2017 by Diego Escalona and Jalil Miguel, both graduates from the School of Architect of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Their trajectory has remained in the search of understanding architecture from the diverse areas and disciplines that surround it: Geography, Anthropology, Archaeology, Art, scale, structure, materiality and the everyday object. These fixed values generate important questions in their work.
