Ludwig Godefroy
(Saint Lô (FR), 1979)
Ludwig Godefroy studied architecture in Paris. In 2005, he worked with Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue in Barcelona, and in 2006 with OMA Rotterdam with Rem Koolhas. In 2007, he moved to Mexico City, where he worked for Tatiana Bilbao Estudio. Three years later, he founded Ludwig Godfroy Architecture, in Mexico City,
His work is based on the mix between French and Mexican cultures. On one hand, the concrete and bunkers of Normandy, his birthplace; on the other hand is the inspiration he finds in Mexico, my second country, and its pre-hispanic heritage of temples and pyramids.
